About

Hi, my name's Michael and I'm here to get you prepared for the SAT reading and writing this October! I'm a high school junior - I scored a 1530 on my first SAT back in March and I ran a reading and writing bootcamp just like this one for the June SAT also. As a tutor, I'm definitely laid back, and I like to take sessions at a slower pace so I'm sure everyone's on the same page. I do ask that you remain engaged and participate as much as you can, as well as following all of Schoolhouse's rules. Join up and let's get ready for the SAT!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I’m a high school senior from New Jersey, and I'm here to help you do your best on your next SAT! I've run many reading and writing bootcamps before, so I'm familiar with the topics we go over and the practice tests we take. I'll always do my best to answer your questions and keep everyone on the same page. A little about myself - I like playing piano, reading about history, weightlifting, and editing videos in my free time, and I have plenty of experience tutoring both on and off schoolhouse. Great to see you!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.
