About

Hello everyone! My name is Sofia (if you want to know more about me, read my bio) and I am beyond excited for the coming sessions, wherein we will be diving deep into the SAT Reading & Writing sections. My promise to you is to keep the sessions fun and interactive while still staying informative and helpful so that you can make the most out of your Saturdays and Wednesdays. I plan to cover a plethora of topics so as to prepare you for the June SAT and get you the score of your dreams –– or close to it, at least!  

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I am a high school senior from New Jersey who is interested in mathematics and humanities subjects. On the SAT, I scored a 1540 (1560 superscore). I have mastered the perfect study regime for the SAT and am willing to help anyone improve their score. I also have a very involved and rigorous math background –– currently a Multivariable Calculus (Calc 3) student with proficiency in all levels of math Calc BC and below. Aspiring to be a lawyer in the future, I have also scored 5's on the AP US History and AP US Government & Politics exams among other advanced courses.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we’ll take a 35-minute practice exam (Writing and Language). Afterwards, we will review Standard English Conventions and Grammar in the writing section.
