About

What we will cover: In this series, we move past "learning to code" and start "learning to build." Vibe Coding is the art of using natural language to steer AI (Google Gemini) to write complex software for you. We will cover:
* The Ethics of AI: Our first session dives into the morality of automated creation and the responsibility of the "Viber."
* The Prompt-Code-Run Loop: Learning to translate your "vibes" into functional logic.
* Rapid Debugging: How to copy-paste errors back to Gemini to fix bugs instantly.
* Platform Mastery: Using OneCompiler to execute Python, JavaScript, and more without needing a high-end setup.

How learners will engage: This is a high-energy, "camera-on, hands-on" series. You won't just watch me code; you will be the Architect. Every session involves a live build where you prompt Gemini, move the results to OneCompiler, and "vibe check" the output with the group.

Note: A personal laptop is required, as school-issued devices may block the necessary tools.

Hi! I’m Christopher, a high school sophomore passionate about learning, teaching, and helping others succeed. I’ve been tutoring through Schoolhouse.world since 8th grade, specializing in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, History, and Computer Science. I also mentor other tutors as a Schoolhouse Tutors Host and serve as a Senior Tutor in Reading/Writing and Enrichment. I love supporting learners by breaking down challenging concepts and encouraging curiosity. Outside of tutoring, I’m interested in Math, Science, Music, Creative Writing, and Social Advocacy. My goal is to make learning accessible, engaging, and empowering for every student I work with. ___________________________________________________ 6th Grade Courses Math 6 Honors (Period 4, 2021-2022) ELA 6 (Period 5, 2021-2022) Integrated Science 6 (Period 1, 2021-2022) World Studies I: Beginnings of Human Society to the Emergence of the First Global Age (Period 3, 2021-2022) Band 6 (Period 2, A Day, 2021-2022) Keyboarding & Basic Word Processing (Period 2, B Day, Fall 2021) Physical Education 6 (Period 2, B Day, Spring 2022, Q3) Health Education 6 (Period 2, B Day, Spring 2022, Q4) ___________________________________________________ 7th Grade Courses NC Math 1 (Period 4, 2022-2023) ELA 7 (Period 3, 2022-2023) Integrated Science 7 (Period 1, 2022-2023) World Studies II: The Great Global Convergence (1400-1800) to the Present (Period 2, 2022-2023) Band 7 (Period 5, B Day, 2022-2023) Media Art: Visual Art (Period 5, A Day, Fall 2022) Physical Education 7 (Period 5, A Day, Spring 2023, Q3) Health Education 7 (Period 5, A Day, Spring 2023, Q4) ___________________________________________________ 8th Grade Courses NC Math 2 (Period 3, 2023-2024) ELA 8 Honors (Period 5, 2023-2024) Integrated Science 8 (Period 1, 2023-2024) North Carolina and United States History (Period 2, 2023-2024) AVID 8 (Period 4, A Day, 2023-2024) Advanced Dance 8 (Period 4, B Day, Fall 2023) Health & Physical Education 8 (Period 4, B Day, Spring 2024) ___________________________________________________ 9th Grade Courses English I Honors (Period 1, Fall 2024) Band Intermediate (Period 2, Fall 2024) JROTC I (Period 3, Fall 2024) Career Management (Period 4, Fall 2024) Earth & Environmental Science (Period 1, Spring 2025) NC Math 3 Honors (Period 2, Spring 2025) World History Honors (Period 3, Spring 2025) Health/Physical Education (Period 4, Spring 2025) ___________________________________________________ 10th Grade Courses Microsoft Excel Honors (Period 1, Fall 2025) NC Math 4 Honors (Period 2, Fall 2025) English II Honors (Period 3, Fall 2025) Theater Arts Beginning (Period 4, Fall, 2025) AP United States Government and Politics (Period 1, Spring 2026) AP Psychology (Period 2, Spring 2026) NCVPS: Latin I Honors (Period 3, Spring 2026) Biology Honors (Period 4, Spring 2026) ___________________________________________________

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

To ensure everyone keeps up with the fast-paced nature of AI development, please adhere to the following:

* The "Vibe Check" Rule: Since Session 1 sets the foundation for everything we do, attendance at Session 1 is mandatory. Missing the first session without prior notice will result in withdrawal to make room.

* The Two-Strike Policy: We move quickly. If you miss two sessions without messaging me beforehand, you will be withdrawn from the series.

* Active Participation: Vibe Coding isn't a spectator sport. Learners are expected to have Google Gemini and OneCompiler open and be ready to share their progress or bugs.

* Communication is Key: If you have a conflict (life happens!), please message me at least 2 hours before the session starts.

Artificial Intelligence

Wed 11:00 PM - Thu, 12:00 AM UTCApr 1, 11:00 PM - Apr 2, 12:00 AM UTC

The Ethics of the "Vibe": Before we code, we discuss. We’ll explore the morality of AI-generated work: Is it "cheating"? Who owns the code? We will set our personal "Viber's Manifesto" and discuss how to use AI responsibly without losing our own critical thinking.

Artificial Intelligence

Wed 11:00 PM - Thu, 12:00 AM UTCApr 8, 11:00 PM - Apr 9, 12:00 AM UTC

The Prompt-Code-Run Loop: Our first hands-on build. We’ll learn how to describe a logic flow to Google Gemini, troubleshoot the output, and move it into OneCompiler. Goal: Build a custom "Vibe-Based" Utility (like a Budget Tracker or a Study Timer).

Artificial Intelligence

Wed 11:00 PM - Thu, 12:00 AM UTCApr 15, 11:00 PM - Apr 16, 12:00 AM UTC

Debugging the Hallucinations: AI isn't perfect. In this session, we purposely "break" our vibes. We’ll learn how to take error messages from OneCompiler, feed them back into Gemini, and iterate until the code is flawless. This is where real Vibe Coding mastery happens.

Artificial Intelligence

Wed 11:00 PM - Thu, 12:00 AM UTCApr 22, 11:00 PM - Apr 23, 12:00 AM UTC

The Final Vibe: Creative Scaling: The Grand Finale. Learners will work on a "Personal Passion Project." We’ll focus on adding complex features (like UX/UI elements or advanced data handling) using only natural language prompts. We'll end with a "Live Demo" of everyone’s apps.
