About

Grammar has to be the first thing you do. If you just started studying for the SAT, trust me finish grammar off first. It makes those long english essays about absolutely nothing actually make sense somehow. In fact, it skyrocketed my practice test scores!

We will start from the basics and ensure each one of you are thorough with them. This series is made to be adaptable and tailor to each student–hence only 5 members.

I am a firm believer that we must be taught in a way we can approach any type of problem, no matter how much the college board tries to mess us up, and my extensive experience in doing so will help all of you obtain the marks you want.

Grammar will be taught strictly from the syllabus, but with a focus on understanding the topic, NOT just the question. My goal is to make you great at recognising patterns, making difficult questions look easy.

From my experience, it’s the new, unfamiliar questions (not the ones from past papers) that tend to challenge most students, admittedly including myself. I want to make sure we fix that together.

I am Rishabh, an 11th grade english speaking student studying in India, in the IB curriculum. For my 9-10th I wrote the IGCSES, where I managed to score 8 A-stars and an A. My best subject is prolly physics, maybe math on a good day, but my best attribute is how well rounded I am, which i think will help in tutoring. Other than academics I am heavily interested in basketball and entrepreneurship.

Introduction to grammar in the SAT. First 5-10 minutes asking you guys what you want from me, session is planned but I like to adapt.

Topics:
-Independent vs dependent clauses-- SUPER important, sets everything else up.

SESSION 2

SAT Reading & Writing

SAT Reading & Writing

Sat 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM UTCMar 21, 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM UTC

Session 2 on grammar, however still open to new comers. This is the last session available for new students, after this, prerequisite knowledge will be required.

First 15-20 minutes will be about dependent and independent clauses, trust me this is impossibly important!!

Session is planned but I like to adapt.

Topics:
-Independent vs dependent clauses -- (limited by time, not main focus. Mostly question solving)
-Commas vs semicolons vs periods -- This is exactly what separates a good score from a decent score. You understand this, even the longer reading questions feel wayy easier. Taught through examples.

Please ask me doubts!!
