Hi, my name is Dan! I have gotten a 770 on a past test, and I'm really excited to tutor you guys for the upcoming SAT.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

As a high school student who self-studied for the SAT without paid tutors or services, I scored a 1560 on my first test. I know firsthand how hard it can be to struggle with the SAT on your own, and I want to give back by sharing my experience and helping others improve their scores. In my free time, I also love math, talk fluently in three languages, and work out. We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
