Join UCLA-certified college counselor and former admissions officer Mr. Z for a practical, step-by-step virtual 4-week workshop designed to give you the structure, tools, and support to write strong, authentic college essays this summer without feeling overwhelmed. 🙌

In this workshop, you will:

* Learn the purpose of the personal statement and the essential must-dos that make a college essay effective, memorable, and true to your voice

* Practice strategies for choosing the right prompt, brainstorming meaningful ideas, drafting with purpose, and revising your writing with greater clarity and depth

* Understand the role of supplemental essay questions and develop systems for organizing prompts, deadlines, and responses across multiple applications

* Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college, creating accountability, momentum, and a supportive writing community

Important Note: Session attendees will be expected to be fully engaged and participate in discussions via computer mic and/or Zoom chat.
