Hello, my name is Jeremy and I'm here to help you guys achieve your true potential of your reading section of the SAT. From what I've learned from tutoring, most students have the knowledge and aptitude to do exceedingly well in this section. However, it's the lack of opportunity and consistency that holds them back. I hope this bootcamp provides that consistent practice for you guys to unlock utmost confidence in your own skills.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hi everyone! I’m Jeremy and I am thrilled to join the Schoolhouse community. I am currently a High School Junior hailing from Arlington, Texas. I have always believed that learning shouldn't have borders or price tags, which is why I am so excited to be part of this incredible, peer-driven platform. I believe that "the students are the teachers" and that we can grow faster when we learn together.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other and introduce the Bootcamp. Then, we will work through a Pre-Test and review questions you’d like to go over.

We’ll begin with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
