About

Hey, my name is Sahana, and I'm super excited to help you prepare for the SAT! I've hosted multiple Math and R&W Bootcamps before, and my sessions focus on active learning and participation. Looking forward to helping you :)

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hey! I'm a high school senior from North Carolina. My favorite subjects are math and science, and I'm especially interested in medicine/neuroscience. I'm looking forward to helping others prepare for the SAT! In my free time, I enjoy playing the violin, singing, baking, and hanging out with friends.

Review core concepts and test-taking strategies, with a peer tutor who excelled on the SAT.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will review Standard English Conventions and Grammar in the writing section. After, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over.

We’ll begin by reviewing Expressions of Ideas on the writing sections. After, we will finish the practice exam from the first session and we will review any questions you have. We will wrap the session up with targeted writing practice.
