About
Geometry questions on the SAT often look intimidating, but they usually boil down to a few simple rules. In this session, we’re stripping away the complexity to focus on the high-yield, foundational topics that appear most frequently. We’ll cover the essential rules for lines, triangles, and circles, and I’ll show you how to 'eye-ball' diagrams to spot the right path to the answer. Whether you’re stuck on y=mx+b or can’t remember your circle formulas, this session will give you the 'cheat sheet' strategies you need to bag those points.

Wed 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM UTCFeb 11, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM UTC
We'll cover the fundamental geometry concepts of the SAT:
Angle rules: complementary and supplementary angles, transversals
Triangles: Pythagorean theorem, similar triangles, SOH CAH TOA
Area and volume: formulas for the 2D and 3D shapes tested on the SAT
Circles: Circle theorems, geometry problems involving shapes inscribed in circles.
We can do extra SAT-style practice problems if time permits.

15 essential SAT Geometry & Trigonometry questions. We’ll focus on the 'Easy' and 'Medium' difficulty levels—the foundational questions that make up the bulk of your score. I’ll show you how to 'read' a diagram like a pro, identify the hidden rules, and use the fastest path to the answer so you can save time for the harder module
