About

Hi my name is Daniel Shen a univesity student who scored 800 on my SAT Math here to help all of you do the same.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hi! I’m a dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students build skills and confidence in their problem-solving abilities. I especially enjoy teaching Math and Science, which I specialize in. I believe that teaching for any of these tests is not about the test itself, but preparing you for the future challenges that the material requires you to understand. You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other and introduce the Bootcamp. Then, we will work through a Pre-Test and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
