About

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am hosting an SAT Math Bootcamp for the August 26th SAT test. I have done all the paper-based SAT Practice tests and a few released SAT QAS tests. I also was a tutor for a previous SAT Math Bootcamp.  

In regard to my style of teaching, I prefer to spend the entire class time(most of the time) going over tests, so you will most likely do the tests whenever you have time. I have found that students are not able to finish asking important questions they want to ask if tests are done during tutoring sessions. Please take this into account when you sign up for the class. Thank you!

Note: Even though cameras are advised, I don't mind if you don't use them. Please make sure to speak up if you have any questions. If you have a question or don't understand a step, interrupt me. Speak up and ask your question, not just raise a hand or a chat message. I don't mind, and it helps me understand specifically what you have a question on.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

The first session is a light one! In this session, we'll "break the ice" through an SAT Blooket(Crazy Kingdom) and go through an overview and testing tips for the SAT. This session may not take the entire time. Please finish the practice exam A1 and A2, no-calc, before the next class.
