About

Hi, my name is Karim, and I’m excited to help you prepare for the SAT. I scored 790 in SAT Math and have experience tutoring students in math across all school levels. I focus on explaining concepts clearly, practicing the right types of questions, and building confidence so the test feels manageable rather than overwhelming.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hi everyone! I’m a high school senior who’s really into math and STEM and enjoys helping others feel more confident with tricky topics. Outside academics, I love watching movies, playing football, and spending time at the piano. I’m joining Schoolhouse because I value peer-to-peer learning and want to give back by supporting students preparing for the SAT. Excited to be part of this community and learn alongside all of you.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We’ll begin with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Geometry and Trigonometry Domain. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
