About

Hi, my name is Boyang, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the SAT!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm a high school senior from Shandong, China, and I plan to study abroad for university. I’m here to learn from all of you awesome people and hopefully help out whenever I can! I’m into a bit of everything: playing soccer, getting lost in audiobooks 🎧, or practicing Chinese brush calligraphy (it’s so calming ✍️). Right now I’m having fun learning Hangul and Cantonese—super challenging but really cool! If you’re a native Korean or Cantonese speaker and want to learn Mandarin/Chinese, let’s do a language exchange! 📱 I’d love to chat and help each other out. Academically, I’ve done quite a few AP courses, won some gold medals in international chem & bio competitions 🏅, and got a 1560 on the Oct 2025 SAT (R&W 770, Math 790). To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.
