✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
Why Attendance Matters:
The first 4 weeks build the foundational skills in exponents and order of operations. Missing sessions makes it harder for learners to participate confidently in team competitions.
During Weeks 5–7 (competition weeks), teams rely on every member. Absences affect not just the learner, but the entire team.
Expectations:
Learners are encouraged to attend all sessions to learn the material and contribute to their team.
If a learner knows they will miss a session, they should notify the tutor ahead of time. Absence Guidelines One absence without prior notice: the learner will receive a reminder from the tutor. Two absences without prior notice: may result in withdrawal from the course to maintain team balance and fairness.
