About

Welcome to the series! I have decided to change up the way we will be doing this to make it easier for me to organize and for students to understand what we are doing each week. Here's the new format: 1. Each week, I will post assignments both to our classroom in Duolingo, as well as to the group chat in our schoolhouse.world page. Please try to complete these before the assigned due dates. 2. On Wednesdays, we will go through some Duolingo lessons as a group. Afterwards, we will practice what we learned in those lessons via conversation. 3. On Saturdays, we will continue to practice what we learned in those lessons via conversation. Please sign up for a Duolingo account, and join our classroom here: www.duolingo.com/classroom/kvgaju I will see you on Wednesday!

Tutor Qualifications

I have taken the STAMP language proficiency exam in Japanese and received credit for 4 years of high school classes (the max amount of credits my high school would offer me for the test.) Also, I am certified bilingual in English and Japanese by the state of Oregon.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Right now, we are basically starting over with a new, better organized format, so you can join even if you haven't come to any previous sessions!
