About

Welcome to the series! I have decided to change up the way we will be doing this to make it easier for me to organize and for students to understand what we are doing each week. Here's the new format: 1. Each week, I will post assignments both to our classroom in Duolingo, as well as to the group chat in our schoolhouse.world page. Please try to complete these before the assigned due dates. 2. On Wednesdays, we will go through some Duolingo lessons as a group. Afterwards, we will practice what we learned in those lessons via conversation. 3. On Saturdays, we will continue to practice what we learned in those lessons via conversation. Please sign up for a Duolingo account, and join our classroom here: www.duolingo.com/classroom/kvgaju I will see you on Wednesday!

This is the first lesson that uses the new format. Here's what we'll be doing: 1. Everyone will make an account on Duolingo. (For privacy reasons, please do not use your full name on Duolingo.) If you have trouble with this, please let me know and I will help you. 2. (optional) Join my classroom here on Duolingo so that you can see weekly asisgnments: www.duolingo.com/classroom/kvgaju 3. We will go through lessons on Duolingo together. Because I have been told by many students that they still don't feel comfortable enough with hiragana to read it without romanization, we will start with Hiragana 1. :) Please see my post in the group chat for the roadmap/course schedule!
