About
🌎 How can we create meaning in a seemingly meaningless world? What is the purpose of art and the role of the artist amidst destabilizing political change? Explore how poets of the Dada movement embraced the absurd as a tool of protest and social criticism in the early 20th century!
In this session we will learn what Dada poetry is, read a few examples, then write our own nonsense poems!
🎤Please come with a working microphone and something to write (or type) with.
📚Sharing your work is optional, but I highly encourage everyone to participate (answering questions or reading out the examples) during the session!!!
