I am Joseph Z, a homeschooled high school senior from China. At Schoolhouse, I mainly tutor literature, history, mythology, Chinese, and host community events. I am also a volunteer at Schoolhouse with many accomplishments. - Sep 2023 to Dec 2023: initiated the founding of the R&W Subworld. - Nov 2023 to Jun 2024: member of the Welcoming Team. - Nov 2023 to Jun 2025: Moderator of the R&W Subworld. - Jan 2024 to Now: Dialogue Club President. - Jun 2025 to Aug 2025: Moderator of the Tutors Subworld. - Aug 2025 to Now: Community Engagement Moderator. I am passionate about history, geography, and the English language; I am planning to study education for my college degree. In my free time, I also have several hobbies. - Literature: I am extremely intrigued by fantasy fiction, such as A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, Assassin's Creed, and The Hobbit. - Sport: I enjoyed playing football (aka soccer), as well as rollerblading, swimming, table tennis, and other group activities. My favorite football player is Kylian Mbappé. - Art: I am very passionate about art, mainly sketching and digital art. I enjoy drawing in black and white, with lines instead of shades. I also design fantasy world maps. - Music: I play the instrument Hulusi (gourd flute), a traditional Chinese instrument, and passed the top level in 2022. I also have fundamental knowledge of piano and the Chinese bamboo flute. I sing occasionally, but I enjoy listening to music more; my favorite artist is Charlie Zhou Shen. - Video game: I play video games from time to time, mainly Honor of Kings (Pro), Arena Breakout, FC Mobile, and Minecraft. - Other fun facts: ENFP-A, Ravenclaw I am a very active tutor at Schoolhouse, and I enjoyed connecting tutors and learners through my game nights and other community events! I enjoyed making friends, so feel free to reach out with anything you might need help with, and I am willing to lend a hand if it is within my power.

Please do not miss more than one session per term, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

1. Please submit excused absences ahead of sessions that you will miss to be considerate of your tutor. 2. You are allowed one unexcused absence in this program before you may be removed from the series.

3. Repeated unexcused absences from required sessions will result in suspension from the Schoolhouse platform.
