About

Hi, my name is Davan, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the SAT! I'm a high school student from New Jersey and have always had a passion for learning new things and helping my peers learn as well. My favorite things to do are to play instruments and do puzzles. I'm also an EMT and love animals!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

I'm a high school student from New Jersey with a strong interest in medicine. I am an EMT and it's the most important part of my life because I really value helping people! I grew up on a horse farm and I love animals so much. I have three dogs and a ferret at the moment, but am looking into getting more animals.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other and introduce the Bootcamp. Then, we will work through a Pre-Test and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
