About

Hi! My name is Miranda! I have tutored English and writing extensively outside of the SAT, and I am looking forward to preparing you all for success on the R&W section of the SAT! R&W can definitely be tricky for a lot of people, so I am excited to clear up confusion, whether common or unique, on this portion of the SAT regardless of your previous English proficiency.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hello! I'm a high school senior passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping others achieve success in academics and beyond. I specialize in math from pre-algebra to pre-calculus, science including computer science and physics, English, and SAT prep. While I have joined Schoolhouse in June 2025, I have been consistently tutoring since August 2022. Looking forward to working with all of you! In my free-time, you can typically find me reading or creating mixed-media art. Outside of tutoring, I am a volunteer web developer, FRC robotics participant, FTC robotics mentor, and computer technician.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
