About

We will cover the last four units of pre-algebra, starting with multi-step equations with variables on both sides of the equation. Learners should bring a writing utensil, paper, and a calculator/program such as Desmos. Feel free to bring questions, but learners should have a good understanding of basic arithmetic.

I'm a junior in high school, super passionate about reading and writing literature! I play the flute and I love listening to music; my favorite artists are Tate McRae and Olivia Rodrigo. I have a dog and I adore being around animals as well as going hiking. I enjoy amusement parks and relaxing on the beach. Hope I can help!

Two-variable equations

Two-variable equations

Thu 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM UTCDec 11, 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM UTC

In this session, I will be teaching two variable equations. We will learn what proportional relationships are as well as how to solve them. We will be learning about various aspects of the equation and how they correspond to graphs. Please have a graphing program such as a calculator or desmos. Pencil and paper would also be great.

Functions and linear models

Functions and linear models

Tue 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM UTCDec 16, 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM UTC

In this session, I will be covering functions and linear models, both in word questions and visual models. We will be defining what a function is and how to view it in on a graph to solidify understanding. We will learn how to use functions to solve questions. If anyone has any prior knowledge, please bring potential questions. All that is needed is a pencil and paper.
