About

Hi, my name is Shriya, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the SAT! I'm a current freshmen in college, and I've been tutoring on-and-off for the past year.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

I'm a UVA biochemistry major on the pre-med track (graduation year 2029). I would love to give back to my community by tutoring for any math and science courses, including but not limited to Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, and the SAT. In my free time, I love to binge-watch my favorite movies and go for a refreshing run.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other and introduce the Bootcamp. Then, we will work through a Pre-Test and review questions you’d like to go over.

We’ll begin with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Algebra Domain. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
