About

Hi, my name is Talia, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the Math Section of the SAT! 
﻿
This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello everyone, I am currently a senior attending a STEM Magnet high school, and I enjoy playing tennis, practicing piano, and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy watching movies and reading fiction books, with my favorite movie being The Lego Movie and my favorite book being Turtles All the Way Down. I am excited to help others feel prepared to take the SAT!

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other and introduce the Bootcamp. Then, we will work through a Pre-Test and review questions you’d like to go over.

We’ll begin with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Algebra Domain. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
