Hi, I'm Shashank, a student at IIT Roorkee. I’m interested in physics and a variety of other topics. I love learning new things and find great joy in helping others understand concepts intuitively—especially when they have that “Ah, it’s so obvious!” moment. I’ve spent a lot of time diving deep into subjects that fascinate me, often falling into deep and exciting rabbit holes. Looking forward to seeing you in a session someday! : )

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

It's very important for you to attend every session as all the sessions are based upon the concepts that we learn in the previous sessions. However, if you can't make it to a particular session it's fine because I will be sharing the notes of every session.

SESSION 1

Catchup

Catchup

Tue 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTCFeb 15, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTC

We will study and discuss the prerequisites that are necessary for a proper understanding of the series and if we have time left by the end of the session, we will start our discussions on SHM
SESSION 2

19

Feb

SESSION 2

Physics

Physics

Sat 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTCFeb 19, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTC

We will derive the equations related to SHM (like forces, displacement, velocity, acceleration, time period....) and understand the phasor diagram. (This is a longer session that our 1 hour-long usual session because it's better to understand these two topics in the same session)
SESSION 3

Feb

SESSION 3

Physics

Physics

Tue 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTCFeb 22, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTC

We will discuss the energy of the object in SHM ( potential and kinetic energy and conservation of energy), view some graphs related to it and do some questions on the topic by the end of the session.
SESSION 4

Feb

SESSION 4

Physics

Physics

Fri 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTCFeb 25, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTC

We will learn to find the 'time period' of any simple harmonic motion and do a lot of questions
SESSION 5

SESSION 5

Review

Review

Wed 3:30 PM - 4:10 PM UTCMar 2, 3:30 PM - 4:10 PM UTC

We will be revising the topics we have learned and doing a lot of practice problems.

SESSION 6

Physics

Physics

Fri 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTCMar 4, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM UTC

We will learn about the SHM of the spring block system and do some questions on the topic.

SESSION 7

Physics

Physics

Wed 3:30 PM - 4:40 PM UTCMar 9, 3:30 PM - 4:40 PM UTC

We will learn about some more examples of SHM (like a pendulum (rather a specific case of it!!), tunnel through the earth, floating object....) and also as always, we will do some questions.
