This College Admissions Workshop on The Application is a virtual 2-week workshop that will provide you with information and support to submit your college applications.

In this workshop, you will:
Learn the purpose of each part of the application
Understand how and when to apply and strategies to consider when making your plan
Complete drafts of frequently required parts of the application, such as lists of activities & experiences, and honors & awards
Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college.

Hi there! I'm a college student studying public health and passionate about education equity and supporting others. I joined Schoolhouse to help make learning more accessible and to give back by helping students feel confident in subjects they might be struggling with. I'm especially excited to create a welcoming, encouraging space where everyone can learn and grow at their own pace!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

In this session, you will come away with an understanding of application methods, timelines, and how the application can communicate to a college about who you are and who you’ll be within a campus community.

In this session, you will understand how to complete the background sections of the application and what mistakes to avoid.  You will also craft a high-impact list of your activities and experiences.
