About

No more intense summer training- instead, this series aims to give a more slow and relaxed approach to Algebra 1. Each week, we will cover one unit of Algebra 1 (total of 11 units, so 11 sessions). There will always be professional slideshows to aid the lesson, along with supplemental worksheets and problems (created by me!). A cumulative test will be given at the end (this can be completed and submitted any time within 1 month of the end of this series). 📝

Hello! My name is Konner, and I am glad to be your SchoolHouse tutor! I am a Freshman in High school and I have mastered Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Trigonometry. I love playing golf and the piano, as well as teaching others mathematics. ✨⛳️🏌️🎹 I always strive to give students the best learning experience. To meet this criteria, each session will be accompanied with professional slideshows, a digital math pencil (the one where I write on the screen), and plenty of exercises.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please let me know if you will be absent. Failure to do so more than once will lead to removal from the course.

Quadratic functions & equations

Quadratic functions & equations

Wed 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCDec 17, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

Quadratics part 3. Instead of just factoring, solving quadratic equations will be introduced, with an emphasis on factored form and learning how to complete the square (and ultimately turn it into vertex form) with a=1.

SESSION 10

Quadratic functions & equations

Quadratic functions & equations

Fri 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCDec 19, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

Quadratics part 4. Continuation of completing the square, but instead of a=1, a>1. Graphing quadratics will also be a new topic. We will start with plugging in points and analyzing the shapes and properties of parabolas.
