About

Hey there! My name's Lainey, and I'm so excited to help you out with SAT Math. I know that side effects of studying for the SAT can include stress, burnout, confusion, and possibly tears, so I hope to make this as fun, beneficial, and approachable as possible. The goal is for you to be confident and skilled by the end of this bootcamp! ✨

The four-week tutoring series will include me explaining new concepts, practice tests, lots of challenging problems from past SATs, and, of course, us working together through your mistakes and all your burning questions. These tutoring sessions—just me, you, and a few like-minded learners—are designed to be highly interactive and personal. Please ask questions, ruminate aloud and together, and make as many mistakes as you need!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time. You are also encouraged to turn on your mic!

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.
