PROFILE STATEMENT I am someone who can easily be described as a scholar, an advocate, and a leader because I like to be present on behalf of a wide variety of people, to help them. I naturally derive personal satisfaction in empowering, and advocating for people, and believe that fulfillment of goals begins with finding an opportunity to serve others through leadership advocacy and community and volunteering services which I see as my ethical responsibilities and a rewarding opportunity. I view my personality and skill set as not only valuable assets to my personal goals and career advancement but also, an invaluable resource that can better be utilized to serve others particularly the underserved and the underrepresented. My passion for public and community services, as well as leadership advocacy eventually motivated me to research and study insightful Law, Political Science, and related courses at degree levels. My goal is to explore programs legally and globally impactful to people from diverse cultures and societies and thereafter, to join the justice, political, and or, court systems (in some leadership capacities), overseeing criminal trials, formulating justifiable and equitable policies, ensuring that the laws are fairly followed, and personally contributing positively impactful perspectives to policy decisions that would not only influence the lives of people in my communities but also, contribute towards making the world a better place. I am currently a prelaw, honors student at New York University (NYU) having been trained and generously prepared and groomed by the Schoolhouse World Peer tutoring/mentoring programs before my college admission. Today, I am delightfully giving back because they taught me how to do so. At my current University, I have continued to utilize my academic and professional accomplishments to positively impact hundreds of academically underrepresented student communities through the Student Government Assembly as a Senator, and a member of the Professional Standards’ Committee, as well as other leadership, advocacy, volunteer services, and Community Engagement positions, ranging from serving as the leader of the Social Justice House at the General Assembly of the NYU Residential College at Paulson, and inspiring hundreds of students citywide and worldwide, a Committee Chair of the Youth Advisory Council at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, and a Board Member with NYC Dept of Education Community Education Council, a Youth Advocate with the United Nations Assoc of the USA, and NAACP, a Writer with Amnesty International – All Universities, NYU Academic Achievement Program Member an Administrative Assistant with the Stern School of Business at NYU, and a college Aide at the Commissioner of Legal Matter’s Office of the Legal Bureau at the New York Police Department, the Vice President of Communications to the Women Empowerment Society, a Member and a Volunteer with the National 911 Memorial Museum, a Life-time Member of the Council-for -Unity, a Writer with My Brothers’ Keeper Elite Writing Club, amongst very many other social, community, and leadership advocacy services, with accompanying Awards Certificates and Recognitions. Thanks to Schoolhouse World, my schools, and other resource programs which prepared me for where I am headed academically, socially, professionally, and many more. Accordingly, the opportunity to serve through the Schoolhouse World platform has not only made me learn how to become a better person, but it is an opportunity I will always treasure. I desire that you will continue to stay focused and leverage all the resources generously offered by the Schoolhouse World programs because they are immensely invaluable. Thank you!
