About

Hello! My name is Tyson and I'm glad to have this opportunity to prepare you for the upcoming October SAT. I enjoy math and want to share my skills and techniques to ensure that you achieve your goal score!

By the time the SAT Bootcamp finishes, I will have prepared you using various materials such as practice tests and problems. We will work on every topic that we need to know for the SAT Math section. You will be in a group with other students and I ensure to maintain a positive environment for everybody to share their learning process with others. Feel free to speak out during any of my sessions as I will host a small group where everybody can interact with each other. Expect to thoroughly delve into each topic and practice hard problems so that you can achieve your dream score.

I’m a high school student from Virginia looking for opportunities to help other students learn and practice their skills. I put dedication into schoolwork for myself and I believe I could be of valuable help to students in need. I enjoy physics and hope to major in some sort of engineering in the future.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other and introduce the Bootcamp. Then, we will work through a Pre-Test and review questions you’d like to go over.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
