Hi, my name is Gabe, and I am so excited to be your tutor! I am excited to help all of you learn and grow!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

I am a high school senior who is passionate about learning new topics and wants to share my love for academic exploration. My style of teaching is focused on mastering the fundamentals and building on that strong foundation. It makes me very happy when I am explaining something to a student and they have that "AHA!" moment. For me, this realization is the most rewarding and satisfying thing about teaching. Some things about me: I speak three languages: English (fluent), Russian (Native), and Spanish (Proficient) - Achieved Seal of Biliteracy I love sports, specifically soccer. In my free time, I love experimenting with cooking, photography, and video editing.

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You’ll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will wrap up with a Post-Test to help you see your progress from the first session.

We’ll spend time reviewing the post-test and all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice!
