About

Hi, I'm Finbar Doyle and I'll be teaching this four-week SAT preparation course. My purpose is to get you feeling more comfortable with the Reading & Writing section.

Each week we'll tackle different sections of the test by working through practice questions and strategizing in ways that make a difference. I'd like these sessions to be less lecture and more discussion in which you're free to ask questions, try out strategies, and get immediate feedback.

Since it's a small group, you'll have plenty of chances to participate, and you'll also pick up things by listening to others figure stuff out. This is a group where everybody can chime in.

I do ask people to have their cameras on so that we can make the sessions more interactive. If that's ever a problem for you, just give me a heads up.

By the end of these four weeks, I hope you have not only more practice under your belt, but also strategies you believe in and the confidence to apply them on test day.
