Taking AP Lang this year? Have no fear! (and make sure you notice that that rhymes).

In this crash course, we'll cover the three types of essays you'll have to write for the AP Lang exam. We'll spend two sessions on each essay (and add extra sessions based on how much extra time we need). 
﻿
In each introductory session, we'll do a quick warm-up related to the essay we will cover, then I'll go through the rubric and the mechanics of how each essay works. After that, we'll look at some example essays and score them together, and then you'll be able to write your own essay as practice on your own time. In the second session for each essay, I'll provide feedback for the practice essays you wrote beforehand.

Each session will be an hour long, and I'll add additional sessions if we need more time for practice or feedback.

We'll start with the rhetorical analysis essay. This one tends to be the most difficult, so we may have to add an additional introductory session. We'll do a quick warm up, look at how the essay works, and then examine and score practice essays together.
