In this session, we will break down symbolism, characterization, the use of point of view and setting, and themes in the Great Gatsby. I plan to go over the different literary devices in the Great Gatsby, such as setting, point of view, and symbolism, and different methods you can use to understand them. Because we are breaking down important topics that require some levels of interpretation, I ask that participants are also ready to actively engage throughout the session.
