About

Hey guys! Along with my Pre-Algebra/Algebra 1 series, here's one for Algebra 2! It's never too early/late to start learning, so why not join? Prerequisites: Algebra 1 recommended, at least be learning Quadratics (if you haven't already). We're going to be covering -Polynomials (polynomial arithmetic, factoring, remainder and factor theorem, solving equations, features of graphs) -Vectors -Complex Numbers -Rational Functions -Exponents/Logarithms (Arithmetic, Algebra, and Graphs) -Function Transformations -Linear Transformations using Matrices -Modeling Each session is an hour to an hour and a half. We will have sessions each Tuesday and Thursday. At the end of each session we will test our knowledge with a Quizz. All of my sessions have slides that I share with learners, along with quizlets and related resources. Homework is optional but recommended and we go over it at the beginning of each session briefly. All of the resources (slides, homeworks, etc. is organized on a google sites which I share with everyone). YOU CAN JOIN AFTER THE SERIES HAS STARTED! This is going to be a lot of fun, are you ready?

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance is optional but highly recommended since topics build on each other; however I understand that everyone has a busy schedule, so if you can't make it and want a catch-up session just ask!

About the Tutor

Hey, my name's Jose, and I'm currently a senior. I'm about the biggest Indie music fan there is, I love 80s movies (John Hughes goat), and reading in my spare time. I enjoy math because it allows me to express myself artistically, and tutor for the mere sake of those aha moments. I've gotten 5s on AP Spanish Lit and AP English Lang, and I've taken Multivariable Calc and Linear Algebra (which I hope to tutor soon!) I'm currently taking AP Physics C and Real Analysis.
