About

Hi, my name is Jack, and I’m really looking forward to helping you get ready for the SAT! I’ve spent a lot of time working on test prep myself, so I know how stressful it can feel—but I also know that with the right strategies and practice, it gets a lot more manageable.

This four-week tutoring series will focus on the Reading & Writing section of the SAT. By the end of the series, you’ll have completed several practice tests and worked through real problems from previous exams. You’ll be in a small group with other learners who are also prepping for the test, so sessions will be interactive, collaborative, and geared towards helping you build confidence.

Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other and stay engaged. If there’s a specific reason you can’t have your camera on, just let me know ahead of time. Can’t wait to get started!

Hi! I'm an upcoming senior who’s passionate about learning and helping others grow. I’m joining Schoolhouse because I believe it will help me study and prep for my SAT. Outside of academics, I play basketball, violin and enjoy working out. Looking forward to learning and teaching together!

ATTENDANCE POLICY

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.
