About

Each week we will go over the first few four periods of US history. Starting with
Period 1: 1491–1607,-Native American societies before European contact and early colonization. Next,Period 2: 1607–1754, the colonization of British North America and the development of colonial societies. Period 3: 1754–1800, The French and Indian War, the American Revolution, and the formation of the United States government. Period 4: 1800–1848, the early republic, westward expansion, and the rise of Jacksonian democracy. Each different period will last two days of each week.
