About

Hi! My name is Glorie, and I'm super hyped up about tutoring you for the English section of the SAT. I've earned a 720 on said portion on my very first attempt, and later on got a 4 in AP English Literature, so I truly believe that you'll be provided with all the tools to reach your goal throughout this bootcamp.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hello! I'm Glorie, a recent graduate from the class of 2025. I'm a tutor on various sub-worlds such as the SAT Bootcamp for Reading and Writing (720), History, English, and soon the College Admissions Workshops. I am also active on the Enrichment sub-world, where I can provide help in languages (French and Haitian Creole), psychology (as I've taken both AP and AICE Psych), and Congressional Debate Prep (Semi-Finalist in the state of Florida in 2025). I'm very excited to share my knowledge and learn from you as we go.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain.
