About

Hello! Whether you're interested in this course for knowledge before babysitting your next door neighbor's toddler or because you have a new course coming up as teachers and students get back to the classroom - this course is for you! Don't worry, it won't get dull. Using our learned material, such as the persistence of Piaget's stages theory, we'll be creating fun projects and models to solidify our knowledge. 🫶

Hi guys!! I'm either a rising junior or senior, which is a really weird situation that'll clear up soon, but I'm here to answer any and all questions on politics (geopolitics, party divisions, and more!) as well as American history (APUSH rules, you can't convince me otherwise), first aid, debate (public forum and AP styles), constitutional law, business law, sociology, human/child development, and civics! I'm currently about halfway through with the credits required for my bachelors - done through extensive planning of CLEP, AP, and DSST exams. (while I don't actively tutor for such matters, if you have any questions on getting college mostly done while in high school, don't hesitate to ask!) In school I will either be taking 8 or 9 AP courses this year, depending on the availability of an AP Chem course. The other confirmed eight would be US Gov, Comp Gov, African American Studies, Stats, Lang, Human Geo, and both Econs. Other than that for academics I am a huge nerd for my theater and music courses, which is to be expected given my history of breaking out into Hamilton songs. Currently I take ASL and weightlifting for electives and adore both! Outside of school, I volunteer as an Early Childhood Education Professional and have amassed hundreds of hours doing so. I worked with facilitating activities to motivate the development of key milestone goals, enabling the growth of a neurodivergent child from near-nonverbal to almost fully communicative with one-on-one assistance over two years, customized curriculum to ensure progress, and supported the transition of dozens of youth to classroom style learning! It has truly been one of the greatest experiences of my life. That said, my dream career path rests not in childcare but in the legal field, As a result, most of my extracurriculars are more focused on other spheres of knowledge with a few exceptions! I currently do debate as both a competitor and advisor/trainer, lead district wide sessions for school staff on inclusion policy, student government as my class's representative, ethics and philosophy club, theater, volunteer work with a local political chapter, ASL club, photography, advocacy work for progressive events, tennis, swimming, running, and weightlifting. With some new opportunities I'm hoping to secure a really important political internship to me in the coming weeks! Other than all of that formal stuff I am a cat-loving Hamilton fan with a passion for baking, gardening, and historical novels! My absolute idols are Jane Addams, Henrietta Barnett, and Ellen Gates Starr, they deserve the world. Btw, I'm a stickler for an oxford comma. Wishing y'all the best of luck with your schoolwork and tutoring sessions, though remember, step outside once in a while, you deserve it <3
