About

Hello everyone! My name is Matthew, and I'm excited to help you hone your test-taking skills and score high on the Math section of the SAT! You can read more about my qualifications in my bio, but I scored a 790/800 on the Math section on my first attempt and I run my school's SAT club, where I help other students to excel on the SAT and PSAT. I'm looking forward to working with you over these few weeks!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello everyone! My name is Matthew, and I'm excited to help people succeed on the SAT! I scored a 1550 on my first SAT (760 R&W, 790 Math) and a 1500 on my first PSAT (740 R&W, 760 Math). I run my school's SAT club, where I create lectures and teach other students about the content on the SAT and PSAT as well as test-taking tips to score high. When I first joined SAT club, I was nervous about standardized testing and getting a good score on the SAT, but I quickly learned the ins and outs of the exam and I now feel much more confident about standardized testing in general, even outside of the SAT. I hope to be able to help others who were once in my position to hone their test-taking ability and get high scores on such an important test, and I look forward to helping you do so!

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
