About

Hello, my name is Amelia and I'm excited to tutor you in SAT reading and writing! I am a rising senior from Washington state and I recently got a reading and writing score of 740.
﻿
I want to work alongside you to strengthen your reading and writing skills so that you can succeed on the SAT. I hope to share not only tips and techniques for confidently approaching the SAT but also enthusiasm for learning in general. I believe that learning should be fun and enjoyable, even when studying for important standardized tests such as the SAT.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

I'm a rising senior in Washington state. I primarily prep for the reading and writing section of the SAT. I can also help with you with Spanish or European history, especially if you are taking AP-related courses. I believe that learning is fun and I want you to have fun too! I enjoy playing the violin and drawing in my free time.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
