Thu 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM UTCJul 24, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM UTC

In this session, we’ll cover key concepts from Khan Academy’s Algebra 1 Unit 2: Introduction to Functions. We'll start by learning how to recognize functions by identifying relationships where each input has only one output, using graphs, tables, and equations—including the vertical line test. Then, we’ll move on to evaluating functions by substituting values into function notation like f(x) and interpreting what those values mean in real-world contexts. Finally, we’ll explore the domain and range of functions, learning how to determine possible inputs and outputs from graphs and tables, and how these ideas apply to everyday situations. This foundational unit is essential for building confidence in understanding how functions work and preparing for more advanced topics ahead.
