About

Hello, I’m Hannah and I’m looking forward to seeing you in my SAT sessions! I’m a homeschooled senior in high school planning on studying computer animation/theatre next semester. I know firsthand how stressful studying, testing and applying to colleges can be, but I’m here to help you do your best. I will work with you and your individual learning style, and expect lots of practice problems and participation! I’m new to tutoring but have taught classes before, so this will be a fun experience!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi! I’m Hannah. I’m a homeschooled senior looking to study theatre and computer animation at university next year. I've never tutored but I have taught classes in the past, including American history and drama; I love doing it! I was invited to tutor for Schoolhouse for the R&W bootcamp and I’m excited for the next few weeks. Please reach out with questions at any point!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will review Standard English Conventions and Grammar in the writing section. After, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over.
