About

This series will be tailored to students who have a strong foundation in the SAT already (e.g., 600+ scorers), but have trouble with managing time effectively and finding ways to solve questions quicker. We'll focus mainly on learning strategies to solve questions faster while also learning other problem solving strategies. Let's do this!!

Hi, my name is Shourya and I am very excited to tutor here!! I am in the IB DP Program, Grade 11. I have taken PSAT 10/NMSQT (1520) and the SAT, with a score of 1570 as a freshman -- 790 R&W and 780 Math. I took it again as a sophomore and now have a superscore of 1590 (790 R&W + 800 Math). I am here to help others score very well on their SATs! I have taken 6 APs and gotten ALL 5's: AP HuG, AP Precal, WHAP, AP French, AP Stats, and AP Macro-Econ. I have competed in different math competitions (AMC 8, AMC 10, AIME, MOEMS, Math Kangaroo, KSEA NMSC, Hanwha HMO, CIE MathComp/MathFun, RSM IMC). Other than that, I help TA/tutor math for various programs. I also have competed in Academic Decathlon and won numerous 1st place awards at the District, Regional, and State levels. I really like to do math!! I also play the piano, and enjoy playing chess, hiking, and learning more French. I want to help others learn more and also learn some new things myself! 𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦!
