About

Please read:
Hello! The following sessions are designed to help students strengthen their knowledge concerning topics presented in AP Chemistry (e.g. structure of atoms and compounds, reactions, and calculations concerning specific reactions (***equilibrium especially!)) and allow them to prosper in the following school year.

We will be meeting four times a week and for approximately 2 hours (3 hours if necessary). The first couple of sessions may be shorter.

While I will openly address that the following sessions do not cover certain things about AP Chemistry (e.g. concepts that would be better learned in person at a lab such as Beer's law), they are meant to hopefully allow you to learn and/or further develop skills that may or may have not been obtained in a prior chemistry class.

It is highly recommended that you have taken or have been exposed to high school level chemistry (following topics: electron configuration, moles, and molar mass are very vital).

I hope to look forward to learning with you this summer, thank you. 👍

Important notes/exception to the above
No sessions will be held on the week of July 28th. Please study during that time (I recommend Khan Academy).

This series has been extended to August 16th for the sake of more reviews and study time.

August 16th is the "final" or mock AP Chemistry exam.

For August 14th (session 25) and August 16th (session 26) the time of meeting will be modified to 4:00 P.M. due to school potentially starting, however this may change at the host's discretion. Please be aware of such modifications (I will send alerts in the group chat).

The week of August 11th has been greatly modified concerning the typical Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday schedule. Meetings for review will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Saturday is the mock AP Chem test/Final.

View Profile

Hello! I am currently a junior high school student from Florida who is eager to assist students from any background to excel in their academic endeavors. Using mathematical skills that I have developed via my own experiences and challenges with particular courses, I aim to pass on abilities that facilitate the learning process of math as a whole as well as one's efficiency doing problems. Alternative to math, I do take interest in physics and have background in chemistry. I also take interest in running and playing soccer. I hope I can help others with any struggles they have and be able to study for my SAT/ACT that is coming up!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please make sure to message me on schoolhouse in advance if you cannot make it to a session. I will try to send you which information was covered and I or another tutor on the chemistry subworld (you can ask for help on multiple topics) should be able to assist you.

Do not miss any sessions as everything here will build on itself. If you miss more than twice without messaging the host, you will be removed from the series.
