About

🚀Ready to BOOST your SAT score and learn from someone with a 𝟏𝟓𝟎𝟎+ Score?? 📚Learn with a tutor who makes the SAT make sense!!

𝐌𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩! I'm volunteering here because I know how challenging the SAT can be, and how rewarding it feels when you see your progress.

A little about me: I am a high school senior from Washington who has 3 cats and loves volleyball. My SAT score is 1530. This bootcamp is a great chance to ask questions, learn strategies, and support each other. No pressure to be perfect, just come ready to learn, grow, and try your best. :)

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

👋Hi! I'm Piper, a high school senior from Washington who's passionate about making learning clear, encouraging, and personalized. I have a 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟓𝟑𝟎 and am tutoring a Math SAT bootcamp. I am also focused on tutoring in subjects including algebra 2, pre-calculus, and calculus. I plan on majoring in biology as an under-grad and eventually going to dental school. Outside of academics, I'm into wheel-thrown ceramics, reading, and playing volleyball.

What you'll do

Review core concepts and test-taking strategies, with a peer tutor who excelled on the SAT.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
