About

Hello, my name is Adam, and English is my favorite subject. I think the SAT reading passages look scarier than they actually are. When the questions are about ancient Acrocanthosaurs dinosaurs, it’s easy to get lost—but don’t worry. I’ve got a bunch of strategies, like reading the question but not the answers right away, taking notes, and more, that really helped me.
Also, I feel like I’ve finally mastered SAT grammar, which was super tough for me at first. But once you learn the rules, it’s basically free points. You just have to put in the work. No way around it. So join on up and let's push those scores up for august.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

My name is Adam, and I almost gave up on the SAT. I had a tutor for many months and I was not progressing and I began to feel hopeless. But then I turned it around. I started working harder and taking a more targeted approach, an approach I want to show others. I want to prove to everyone that the SAT (specifically the math) is something everyone can improve on rapidly and become good at if they really put in the effort. I may not have scored a perfect 800 but after so many hours of studying and learning I progressed over 300 points from my first to last SAT. I believe it's important for everyone to have help on this test and I know not every family has the ability to get their kid a fancy tutor like I had and that is why i want to try and help. I can also help with reading and writing!
