About

Hi! I’m Aakarsh, and I scored a 740 on the SAT Math section. Here, I will help students break down tricky math problems and build strong test-taking skills. I know how overwhelming the SAT can be, so I always try to explain things clearly and step-by-step, making sure everyone feels comfortable asking questions. I focus on helping students understand the "why" behind each concept, not just memorize formulas. I've worked with learners at different levels and love seeing them grow more confident with every session. My goal is to make SAT Math less stressful and more achievable for everyone.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hey! My name is Aakarsh, and I am based on Raleigh, NC. Math is my passion and understand various subjects, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry, and I love to teach other people. I found out about this from Khan Academy and AoPS. I hope to make this world fun and full of mathematicians :). I love to play chess, tennis, basketball, and code in my free time as well as robotics.

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
