About

Looking to get a foundational understanding about SAT Math content and building consistent skills for the August SAT? This SAT Math series will be recommended for scorers within or under the (600) point range, but anyone is welcome to join ahead!
The series will span up until the following test date on August 23, 2025 and will be hosted by myself and co-host "Ryan."
Our sessions will consist of accumulating the basic principles & skills necessary for solving specific question types as well as covering all of the hardest math questions using khan academy, question bank, and external sources to gain a better grasp of conceptual knowledge and application work.

[Contents Covered]
1. Algebra
- Linear equations in 1 variable
- Linear equations in 2 variables
- Linear functions
- Systems of 2 linear equations in 2 variables
- Linear inequalities in 1 or 2 variables
2. Advanced Math
- Equivalent expressions
- Nonlinear equations in 1 variable
- Systems of equations in 2 variables
- Nonlinear functions
3. Problem-Solving and Data Analysis
- Ratios, rates, proportional relationships, and units
- Percentages
- One-variable data: distributions and measures of center and spread

I am rising senior in high school who enjoys mathematics and STEM related subjects. I excel mostly in math & science and hope to help share my knowledge for those needing to reach 700+ on the SAT math section! I occasionally would be also helping in the physics department as I am doing my best to be well versed in this field. If there are any questions please feel free to let me know and I would do my best to help you out!

SAT Math

Sat 12:00 AM - 1:00 AM UTCJun 28, 12:00 AM - 1:00 AM UTC

In this session, we’ll tackle linear equations & inequalities to familiarize ourselves with the types of questions we'll typically see on all SATs.

Linear Equations (one & two variables) - solve basic to multi-step linear inequalities, from a number line to compound inequalities on graphs
Slope and Intercepts - understand slope as a rate of change, interpret y-intercepts, and write equations from contexts or graphs
Systems of Linear Equations - solve systems using substitution & elimination, and understand what it means when a system has one, no, or infinitely many solutions
