About

In this two-part series we will cover logarithms thoroughly. We will begin with the definition, and its relationship to the exponential function. Then, we will derive the basic rules to manipulate these functions, including the sum rule, power rule, and the change of base formula. We will be sure to look at may related problems, such as solving equations involving logarithms.

Finally, we turn to sketching graphs of logarithmic functions, including asymptotic behavior.

Hi! I'm a high school student in Maharashtra, India. I like exploring different areas of math (Algebraic Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry) and cycling in my free time! I'm really excited to learn with others here at Schoolhouse!
