About

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! My name is Kenji and I am excited to be your SAT tutor this month! I scored a 800 on the SAT Math section in October 2022. Let's work together to achieve the score you desire! My role as your instructor is to create a safe/comfortable class environment and offer you constructive feedback to improve your mathematical skills. Such an environment cannot be achieved without your active participation. To that end, the number one rule of this class is RESPECT – for me, for each other, and for yourself. A class such as this is only successful to the degree that each student contributes, especially in the class discussions. My goals for this bootcamp is to go beyond the course learning outcomes (preparation for the SAT Math). My hope for each of you is a better understanding of mathematics in your everyday life. Because we have all been practicing mathematics for all of our lives, I hope you will come away from this class with a heightened appreciation of mathematics and for learning and general. I hope that this new awareness and knowledge will encourage you to act in ways that will more consistently result in successful learning outcomes. Remember: Knowledge is power!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
