Every week, a new unit will be introduced with full lecture, practice, and basically everything you would need to know for the AP Exam. This is a great course for anyone trying to get a head start in their AP Biology class, or if you are self-studying the course.

Hey everyone! In today’s session, we’ll start by going over what the AP Biology exam looks like and what you can expect from this course. After that, I’ll give you a quick, ungraded diagnostic pre-test—just to get a sense of where everyone’s at. Since we all come from different backgrounds, this will help me figure out which topics to focus on more throughout the year. No pressure at all! It’s just to help guide our journey together!

🧬 Unit 1: Chemistry of Life
. In this unit, we’ll cover the structure of water and hydrogen bonding, the elements that make up living organisms, and an introduction to biological macromolecules. We’ll also dive into the properties of these macromolecules, how their structure relates to their function, and take a closer look at nucleic acids. This unit builds the foundation for everything else we'll explore in the course!
